HR Director

The HR Director will work closely with agency Partners to help us enhance and transform The Gradient's talent lifecycle, and lead a wide range of human resources programs and activities, ensure that they are effective and aligned with company’s ambitious strategy and growth plans.

In this position, your focus will be on how to attract, hire, support employee development, and retain the best talent in the industry.

What you will do

  • Supervise HR operations: Review our current HR processes, build and implement new processes and initiatives to facilitate company's growth trajectory.
  • Implement strategic development: Deliver our people strategy that supports business priorities and growth strategies.
  • Oversee HR functions: Recruit and assemble an HR team dedicated to maintaining and continuously enhancing our talent management efforts.
  • Play a leadership role in talent acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process to attract top-tier talent in the digital design industry. Develop innovative sourcing strategies and streamline hiring processes to ensure a seamless candidate experience. Be hands-on involved in recruiting of key agency players.
  • Foster talent development: Lead the talent development planning process and initiatives to foster the culture of ongoing learning and professional growth. Collaborate with Discipline Leaders to improve key agency disciplines: Product Design, Business Analysis, and Product Strategy.
  • Lead performance management efforts: Set up clear systems to oversee and evaluate people’s performance and adherence to performance standards. Guide agency Partners and Discipline Leaders in doing in-depth performance reviews and setting goals that match our quality expectations.

What we are looking for

  • Experience: Strong understanding of HR / People processes and strategies, with 5+ years of experience in HR leadership roles. Proven experience of building and launching HR processes and systems in companies from 40 to 150 people. Experience working in a creative, marketing, or a design agency will be a plus.
  • Passion: You really like what you do. You constantly improve your personal and professionals skills to do it better.
  • Ownership: You are comfortable to work with complex tasks with a high level of uncertainty, take ownership and lead.
  • Communication: You have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  Experience working with senior leadership on company-wide strategy.
